What are STARs?
STARs assist people with limited mobility with simple, everyday tasks that they may find challenging, providing greater independence. STAR Robots are designed to be compact and cost-effective, specially tailored to meet the needs of users. We currently have 2 STARs in our portfolio: Andrew Bot and Timothy Bot.
These robots excel at making daily tasks easier, including:
-
Picking up items from the floor and repositioning objects to make them more accessible while sitting.
-
Lifting small objects, such as a water bottle, to ensure they can be easily reached.
-
Holding a cell phone or small device for visibility or usage
STAR KITS
We manufacture STAR Kits, which include all the materials, instructions, and supplementary videos to build a STAR. Kits are distributed and assembled by the community and then we deliver the robot to a family in need!
Is your robotics team interested in becoming a FIRST Aid HUB for your community?
Join us in making a lasting real world impact on the community through this sustainable outreach program! Contact us to receive one of our 2 current STAR Kits — Andrew or Timothy Bot — and learn more about the STAR Kit manufacturing process!

What STARs are NOT:
-
STAR Robots are not classified as medical-grade robotics.
-
STAR Robots are not designed to improve user mobility.
-
STAR Robots are non-wearable and do not offer any form of movement assistance.
